Amazon Kindle the King of Christmas Presents

It looks like the Amazon Kindle is going to become the most popular Christmas gift this year.

While many people are still reticent about changing their reading habits and start using the ever so popular ebook readers, Amazon’s Kindle is gaining more and more popularity. User’s cite it’s light weight, small size, access to books library any time and anywhere, subscriptions to newspapers and magazines and the fact that it causes no strain in the eyes, but above all the possibility of buying books on the go through the Whispernet has convinced thousands of users this year to become Kindle addicts.

Acording to Amazon.com’s spoke person Cinthia Portugal :

“For every 100 books we sell in physical, we sell 48 Kindle books,” ”This is up from 35 books for every 100 in May. Our customers tell us they read more with Kindle because they never have to worry about running out of books.”

This shows that though the entry to the book readers market wasn’t easy for the Amazon Kindle or for that matter for any ebook reader device, trends are changing and owning an Amazon Kindle is becoming a household need more than a gadget geek must have.
