Samsung Papyrus Touch Screen Ebook Reader
Samsung has joined the family of the E-ink Ebook Readers with the future release of Samsung Papyrus.
This slightly bigger than the normal Amazon Kindle (it’s 5.8 inches by 8.3 inches while the entire Kindle 2 measures 5.3 inches by 8 inches with a 6-inch screen) is also bundled with a bunch of PDA-like applications such as a calculator, contacts and scheduler.
But the biggest surprise is that this device comes with a touchscreen and no keyboard at all, only a stylus to work your way through the different menus. This device will also come in several different trendy colors.
Samsung Papyrus Release Date
The Samsung Papyrus ebook reader device was introduced to the public in January during CES, but it’s now doing it’s round in the different fairs and events in Europe with more and more details leaking to the public.
Samsung is aming to do a release of the Papyrus Ebook Reader in Korea in June, to later release it in the UK and then un the USA and the rest of the world
Preorder Samsung Papyrus
Since this device hasn’t been officially announced with a proper release date, Amazon is still not allowing preorders of the Samsung Papyrus, but you can check their Ebook Reader devices page to see when the start allowing preorders.
